Our most commonly used cleaning process is Hot Water Extraction,
sometimes referred to as steam cleaning, but certain types
of fibres and rug construction are best cleaned using a
low moisture process. This will avoid shrinkage and colour
run in some types of rugs.
We use new micro-splitting technology chemicals to suspend
soil particles from the fibres, without the use of detergents
or enzymes. This will ensure optimum cleaning results and
reduce the problem of re-soiling.
The dyes used in oriental rugs are not affected by our
chemicals, but every rug is thoroughly tested beforehand
to ensure the best cleaning method is use.
Rugs that have been cleaned with conventional products will
re-soil sooner, due to the fact that they contain detergents
that leave sticky residues.
